Muscle Response Testing

What is Muscle Testing?

Muscle testing is also known as Applied Kinesiology or Biofeedback.  It is based on the underlying principle that the body is run by energy pathways (meridians), and chemical and electrical signals that are sent to and from the brain by way of the spinal cord and nervous system. All of our organs are controlled by the brain and nervous system, and our muscles are controlled by and connected to the nervous system. If there is weakness on any energy pathway, the body must work harder to get the energy through, the result is a weakened muscle. A healthy muscle is naturally strong and will resist average pressure. What you probably think of as simple muscle strength is actually a much deeper connection to nerves, organs, glands and all of the systems of the body.

The practitioner will stimulate reflex points that have a connection to nerves, glands, organs and nutritional needs.  By applying slight resistance to the arm muscle, the practitioner will be able to observe the bodies reaction to the strength or weakness of any point.
